Felly returned to Boston on September 27th, with a high-energy, genre-blending set at The Sinclair that combined the best of his earlier hits with his newer material, creating a night full of good vibes and loyal fans.

Before the show, I had the chance to do portraits with Felly, and it was an experience that perfectly mirrored his on-stage energy—warm, laid-back, and effortlessly cool. Felly and his team were incredibly welcoming throughout the entire process, making it easy to collaborate and capture moments that felt true to the artist’s spirit.

Once on stage, Felly delivered a well-rounded performance that balanced crowd favorites and nostalgic throwbacks like “Desert Eagle” and “Pretty Girl” with newer tracks from his most recent projects. The crowd was locked in from the moment he stepped on stage, rapping along to older verses while vibing with his more melodic, surf-rap influenced sound that he’s continued to evolve over the years.

The Sinclair’s intimate setting made it the ideal venue for a performance like this. Fans were packed in, shoulder-to-shoulder, yet the atmosphere remained grounded and personal. Whether it was Felly standing on the edge of the stage, leaning into the front row, or casually chatting with the crowd between songs, it was clear he knows how to connect with his audience.

Felly’s ability to maintain the raw, emotional storytelling of his early work while continuing to grow sonically made this set feel both fresh and familiar. From boom-bap-inspired flows to more mellow, acoustic-infused tracks, the night was a testament to his range as an artist.

For fans who’ve been listening since the Waking Up to Sirens days—or even earlier—Saturday’s show was the perfect blend of nostalgia and evolution.
